Mark Krohn, entrepreneur and digital marketing expert serves as the chairman of Focal Point. Mark also serves in a variety of visionary and operational roles, such as: managing partner of The Law Office of Mark E. Krohn with practices in Business, Securities, Mergers & Acquisitions, Real Estate Development and Estate Planning; Chairman of Ascension HR, LLC, a regional human resources consulting firm that assists companies in designing world-class culture, alignment and productivity models that uniquely fit their business, and Chairman of Accelerant, a consulting company that creates and drives strategic planning, world-class events, exceptional fundraisers and previously unforeseen products and services that generate revenue for non-profits.

Commitment, passion, creativity, an aversion to the word “no” and an ardent desire to help people achieve their dreams are the core values that define Mark personally, professionally and philanthropically, are at the heart of all he does and are why people request Mark’s help to solve their most difficult challenges and take advantage of their most promising opportunities.

Mark is married to his lovely wife Lori, and together they have three beautiful children, Alexandria, Nicole, and Noelle. When Mark is not working or spending time with his family, he is volunteering. He currently serves on the boards of the Akron Rotary Foundation, Akron Community Foundation, the United Way of Summit County, First Tee of Greater Akron and the Greater Akron Chamber.

Mark has been repeatedly recognized for his leadership and community service through such awards and recognitions as: The Greater Akron Chamber’s Thirty for the Future Award, the YMCA Volunteer of the Year Award (2x), Leadership Akron’s Distinguished Leader/Innovator Award, The United Way of Summit County Young Philanthropist of the Year Award, The Rotary Club of Akron’s Ambassador of Service Award, The Sales and Marketing Executives International Distinguished Sales and Marketing Award and Inside Business’ Top 100 Emerging Power List.

Lenna has over 12 years of comprehensive marketing experience, including web and e-commerce management and 5 years managing marketing for a number of services-based companies. She loves being able to tell a story through marketing and is excited for the opportunity to do so with the Focal Point team.

Lenna has a Master’s in Integrated Marketing Communications from Florida State University and a Bachelor’s in Marketing & Business Administration from West Virginia University.

Lenna enjoys spending time hiking, kayaking, and exploring the outdoors. She also loves playing soccer, cooking, visiting new breweries and is a die-hard WVU Mountaineer fan!

Elizabeth Scozzaro has a wide range of experience in the development of product sales channels utilizing digital and social media. As a member of Focal Point, she is able to do what she loves every day; plan, organize, and design creative marketing content.

Elizabeth graduated from Baldwin Wallace University with a degree in Marketing & Business Administration. She fell in love with the marketing industry while participating in the Digital Marketing Clinic in college and worked with a team to design a social media strategy for a local animal hospital.

“I am driven to help organizations succeed because of the great work they do for the community. Finding the “why” in what I do is the reason I am enthusiastic to work hard and learn new things.”

Elizabeth enjoys coffee breaks, music, weekend road trips, Orange Theory, and eating homemade Italian food on Sunday nights.

Nicholas Romito is a storyteller at heart. He conveys events in words and images to bring to life the things he sees around him. Capturing life in scripts, films, and photos, Nick is deeply passionate about his art and spends much of personal time creating. Professionally, he is a digital media producer who specializes in videography. He has worked on feature films, short films, documentaries, live events, and commercial videos. He is energized and rewarded by helping clients tell their stories through social media, video and graphic design.

Lydia Hoffman is a Pittsburgh native, who moved to Akron for her college career at the University of Akron. During her time at UA, Lydia majored in Fashion Merchandising and Marketing while focused on building her personal brand. It wasn’t until she worked on the UA social media team on campus while finishing her degree that she realized her love for trends is in the digital world.

After her graduation, she decided to stay in Akron because she saw great opportunity and loves the tight-knit community. With her experience in social media and events, Lydia has the ability to flourish here at Focal Point. Her favorite part is getting to use her creativity every day to create a vision to help others.
In Lydia’s spare time she is always trying new food places, online shopping for the latest trends, traveling to different destinations and drinking iced coffee.
