Q & A Session with Mark Krohn

What are you passionate about?

Driving positive, transformational change. I just love helping people and organizations envision what is possible (sometimes in ways they never before imagined) and then help them achieve it. Many times, when we get started they don’t think what we discussed is possible and I love it when we take the first few steps, they see something positive happen, the light bulb goes off for them and they start to believe. That is when magic is really possible.

What words do you live by?

Vision, Focus, Execution

What do you do when you are not at work?

Primarily three things: 1) Play with my three little daughters I call the Lovelies, 2) Have dinner with my beautiful wife Lori (date night!) and 3) Golf

Why do you love what you do?

Businesses are great at their business but often struggle with “marketing”. Since it is not their “core” business they often don’t know what is available or possible, even if they have a marketing person or department. Digital media is so powerful, and game changing and can bring such amazing possibilities and results when utilized properly, and I just love showing people what is possible and helping them achieve their goals.

Why did you get into social media?

My wife was addicted to it! It seemed like that was where she spent every free second, she had and I had to know why. I guess you could say I was jealous. I asked for her credentials and I started to log into her account. I immediately saw how mesmerized people were with the platforms, how freely they engaged and communicated, and I just knew immediately it was how people would receive information and transact business in the future. I knew had to start a company that understood and leveraged this amazing vehicle.

What is your fondest memory in your professional career?

A client asked me to lead his company’s business. It was an innovative start-up in a very traditional, tired and steeped-in-history and tradition industry. I helped assemble a close-knit team to get started over a period of seven years built that company into a $155,000,000 enterprise. My proudest moment was promoting that team over and over again during that 7 years and watching all of them not only achieve our plans but grow incredibly as professionals and executives.

What problems do you enjoy solving?

Anything really complicated and confounding. The harder the better.

What gets you energized?

Probably binge-watching Seinfeld or Parks and Rec. I just love comedies like those.
